The
Dance Worship Group (DWG) has been
running for five years now, and the
purpose of it is to worship God in a new and exciting way... through dance.
 If
you have not danced before don't worry as we learn the steps gradually.
We usually learn dances for a specific occasions e.g. Christmas or Easter. Midway through the rehearsal, we usually break for about 10 minutes to get our breath back, and have a drink and a biscuit.
Some
people think that praising God through dance is unusual, but in Psalms it says:
"Praise
Him with drums and dancing.
Praise Him with harps and lyres."
(Psalm 150 v4)
 "Praise
His Name with dancing:
play drums and harps in praise of Him " (Psalm 149 v3)
